The estudio antonieta sosa is a non-profit organisation dedicated to preserving and promoting the artistic legacy and pedagogical methodology of Antonieta Sosa. Comprised of family members, students, friends, and a team of professionals. The team has been carrying out tasks since 2020, such as: documenting the artist’s life, safeguarding her legacy, and compiling, restoring, organising, and digitising her archives.
Led by her daughters, Rebeca and Gabriella Laufer, the estudio antonieta sosa aims to establish itself as a leading authority in the documentation and analysis of her work, addressing its various dimensions in conceptual art, mixed media, performance, installation and art education. The organisation also aims to contribute to the study of the historical period of Venezuelan art in which Antonieta Sosa developed her work.
Currently, the estudio antonieta sosa is raising funds to establish a platform for the conservation and dissemination of her legacy. The intention is to develop a variety of documented research projects at national and international levels to accurately disseminate Antonieta Sosa’s legacy, consolidate her place in history and ensure the sustainability of her pedagogical methodology.
